y'all I'm so mad with you Jayvik shippers. I get it, it was gay, I thought they were super fruity in season 1 already as well, but please have a critical thought. their arc in act 3 coopted the ENTIRE story including their storyline (referencing the last post I reblogged here): arcane is about classist oppression, Viktor got to suffer it firsthand as a Zaunite on Topside. this never was about an evil god, or the arcane, Zaun has been in shit since forever as far as I'm concerned. Viktor only started ascending to evil godhood in act 2 of this season. to make him or his delusion out as the real evil that needs to be combatted in order to fix everything is batshit. the villain isn't Viktor or Ambessa or Silco or Mel or Singed or whoever IT'S PILTOVER AS A SYSTEM. and I thought we were all agreeing on this already, but so many of you saw the poor gay Zaunite who just wanted to help turn evil and gobbled it up. Piltover got away without any blame, since Viktor wasn't even one of their people. Besides, I cannot be the only one who thinks that this all is incredibly out of character for Viktor and needed more explanation.
and don't get me wrong, the jayvik scene looked amazing and if my two faves astrally conected through divine bleach and tones while being existential about their relationship I'd also jump, trust me, I've watched she ra. and I can't even say I'd like it to be different, but it is taking up too much importance. it could've been a catalyst to unite Zaun and Piltover through a common cause and get them to work some systematic issues out, it could have been anything but this. none of Piltovers crimes were addressed, Zaun is still in poverty and the only systematic change that happened was one (1) Zaunite being allowed in the council, which really means nothing, because the council decides by vote and there is like seven Topside council members.
I'm very much disappointed by a show who I thought was really in synch with today's systematic issues up until now (and I'm mad at all you jayvik people for clogging up the tag, when there is so much to discuss) and that doesn't even take into account that they made the mentally ill character that most unstable and suicidal people relate to A LOT kill herself??
#I feel like y'all just saw gay sparkly shit in space and ran with it#but their arc is BULLSHIT#I'm not even sorry about it considering the things I've seen y'all post here#arcane#arcane spoilers#arcane season 2#arcane s2#arcane s2 spoilers#still mad#jayvik

FALLOUT OC LIST
Quick rundown of each and every one of my ocs. fair warning, there's...a lot.
starting with the protagonists
Alex Miller: vault dweller/fallout 1. librarian, poet/storyteller, singer. gets through the game with a silver tongue and the combat skills of other people.
Alexandria Miller: chosen one/fallout 2. almost identical in appearance to Alex, was raised on the belief that she was his reincarnation (she isn't). still kind, but slightly more prone to combat. fiercely loyal to her village.
Samael Rafferty: lone wanderer/fallout 3. rude and sarcastic but a good person. High INT/END, low CHA. has attracted the attention of multiple divine entities and does not want any of it.
Courier Six/Omen: courier/fallout new vegas. God of warnings, messengers, luck, death, rebirth, the desert, games, travelers.
Nathaniel Sol: fallout 4, mechanic, sweetheart, high agility.
Nora Sol: fallout 4, lawyer, distant but kind, good head for logistics.
Valory Hargrave: fallout 4, Nora's sister, hedonist, intense.
Roadkill: the prisoner/fallout van buren. former leader of the Bluecopper Bandits, neutral leaning evil karma, good with horses.
Viktor Darling: fallout 76; not a vault dweller, part of a scientist group that arrived in west virginia to study the wildlife.
and now everyone else:
Captain Deadlight: glowing one captain of the whaling ship Incessant
Marie: technically a canon character - baby from the Pitt. adopted by sam. psychic abilities allow her to inflict her emotions on nearby people.
Devilpunks/Hellpunks: a group of mostly teenagers inspired by Sam who posit themselves against basically everyone else in the wasteland. Members include: Dagger (their unofficial leader), Muerte (their radio DJ), Gabriel, Saint, Beel, Hare-trigger, Chitin, Hellhound, and Rowan.
Summer Tardigrade Choir: a gen12 synth anachorite (faction by @/calder) with the psychic ability to intuit an object's physical properties and 'memories'. has plants growing out of her and jokingly calls herself a dryad
Melissa Miller: Alex's great-grandmother, a pre-war actress who starred in schlocky sci-fi movies
Martin Miller: Melissa's husband, ran an auto shop
Jacob & Gwen Miller: Alex's parents
Lady Luck/Miss Fortune: Courier's mother, the previous god of the Mojave region, luck goddess (obviously). died when the bombs dropped but echoes of her remain.
Death of a Hero: Courier's 'father', runs the cafe of broken dreams.

Raziel Rafferty: Samael's adopted daughter. Most successful of the Enclave psyker experiments; has technokinesis.
Nihil: god of mass death (ex. you could see her in Nipton). more of a force of nature than a person.
Maul: raider, member of the Pack
Killjoy: the Pack's resident veterinarian/medic/animal wrangler. was a parahunter until a jetpack crash left him severely injured and his squad kinda abandoned him. bitter and cynical, usually hides away in his (heavily fortified) shack.
Transceiver: the first successful Enclave psyker experiment; heavily mutated; his powers basically act as a psychic beacon he can't turn off. leader of the capital wasteland super mutants.
Jeremiah: architect
Moses C Sharpe: gunsmith. made Courier's signature gun, Snakebite
Professor Paradox: purposely leans into the mad scientist aesthetic; Viktor's mentor
Dallian: parahunter
Scion-3: Shaun in my fo4 rewrite. third in a line of artificially created humans made with nate and nora's dna, set to take over the Institute when Scion-2 retires.
Revelation: god of the future and visions. Responsible for the gift of Sight. Associated with dogs, water, and the moon.
God of Capitalism: a rotting, parasitic thing, lashing out and dragging down those consumed by greed in a desperate attempt to save itself. toying with the idea of it taking the form of vaultboy.
Rusty: ex-forged raider who joins sanctuary with her dog Tetanus
Joy & Daisy: Alexandria's twin daughters
Canis, aka Caine: Daisy's son, Alexandria's grandson; head of the Arroyo wolf scouts, who ride repaired motorcycles.
Deer Crossing: con artist operating in the PNW with his border collie Lady
Crossbuck: gunslinger bounty hunter, childhood friend of Deer Crossing
Beau: Deer's kinda-sorta-maybe boyfriend who he definitely shouldn't be interacting with (Beau is the son of a wine baron)
Mars: god of war of the Legion, dies when they collapse. not the actual Mars from Rome, not really
Andraw Lovelock: technically not a fallout oc; ranger from Wasteland
Hellion (Perihelion/Aphelion): also not a fallout oc. character for Fallen Earth, a game i have not successfully played because my laptop hates it. determined to use her functional immortality to learn and experience as much as possible
Other potential couriers I haven't fleshed out: Augustus (Legion), Acetone (NCR), Lance (House)
Moose: super mutant in the PNW, manages a trading post out of a junkyard
L.K: member of a group descended from girl scouts with similar practices (modified for the wasteland, of course)
Topaz: flower child from a hippie commune type place
Sal: fur trapper/trader
Deadnettle and Henbit: ghoul wives who run a radio station in virginia, they're from the same group as Viktor (Reverent scientists)
Theodore Bones: god of whimsy and chaos. he's the guy who's posing all the mannequins and teddy bears
Cherry: Roadkill's girlfriend, lesbian cowboy explosives expert from Ontario
Purgatory: explosives dealer. has a bomb-sniffing dog who helps her recover mines
Karma: tattoo artist in Rivet City
Romeo: head of the guards in the Gomorrah after the change in management
Niko Avery: Viktor's husband, a surgeon
Jonas & Marten: other member's of Roadkill's gang. Grew up together in Reno.
Maisy Brewitt: prewar seamstress, self-assured and friendly, from the fan project fallout caldera
Daisy Belle: android, distant and protective, Maisy's partner; also from fallout caldera
Minerva aka Minnie: an intelligent deathclaw living in Arroyo
Horses: Biscuit & Strudel (Courier's), Marrow (Roadkill), Cider (Nate), Scotch (Val), Brandy (Nora), Belle (Preston), Bourbon (Nora & Val's childhood horse), Harbinger (Sam)

13. how does your muse outwardly express their anger?
Oh, when Viktor is angry, you will know it. Where they are usually serene and eerie, when they're mad, their eyes get sharper, their lip twitches a little, their shoulders get tense and they will generally stop smiling. Their voice becomes measured; they'll enunciate words very firmly and lowly, but will very suddenly break into shouting if they get frustrated enough. If they're enraged during combat, they start attacking harder, faster, and more brutally, going for cheaper shots or unnervingly close physical contact. And if they're pushed further into being really really upset/frustrated, or if something cuts deeper, they can even be pushed to furious tears, but they often don't even notice when it starts happening and will otherwise keep shouting.

Call of Duty Returns: Modern Warfare III’s Zombie Awakening and Multiplayer Tribute for Longtime Fans!
Hey gamers, get ready to dive into the chaos because Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III officially landed on the gaming battlefield as of November 10, 2023. This isn’t just another Activision title; it’s shaping up to be one of the standout video game releases of the year, solidifying the MW trilogy that kicked off in 2019. Get ready for the dynamic collaboration between Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward — and spoiler alert, they didn’t just meet expectations; they dropped a bomb that’s grabbing the attention of FPS players everywhere. So, grab those controllers, and let’s dive into this gaming explosion together!
Picking Up the Epic Torch
Modern Warfare III takes the baton from where Modern Warfare II left off. Expect a darker and more intense narrative with the return of the mysterious Vladimir Makarov. The pre-release hype wasn’t just hype; it translated into heart-pounding missions and unexpected plot twists that exceeded expectations.
Open Combat Missions: Your Story, Your Way
Hold onto your controllers because Modern Warfare III introduces Open Combat Missions (OCMs), giving you the power to shape your gaming destiny. It’s not just playing a game; it’s creating your adventure. Stealth or full-frontal assault — the choice is yours. Say goodbye to linear narratives, in this entry you can choose the approach for each mission.
Multiplayer Chaos Unleashed
Now, let’s talk multiplayer madness. Modern Warfare III offers various ways to experience the game with friends, and all MW II unlocked content carries over. The developers listened to the community and brought back features like reload canceling, slide canceling, map voting, and red dots on the minimap. Remastered classics mingle with new maps, catering to diverse playstyles. Fan-favorite maps like Favela and Terminal have been remastered and adapted to the new movement and gameplay mechanics of MW III. Tactical Stance, evolving loadouts, and After-Market Parts add layers of strategy and customization, turning multiplayer into an ever-evolving spectacle.
The Return of the Zombies Mode
Modern Warfare III is set to redefine the Zombies experience, diverging from the traditional round-based format with an ambitious large-scale extraction gameplay. MW III introduces a thrilling fusion of Zombies and DMZ, designed for trios in a PvE environment. With up to eight squads of three players and the option for solo challenges, the open-world Urzikstan map becomes the largest Zombies map ever. Following the Dark Aether storyline, Operation Deadbolt unveils an undead outbreak orchestrated by Viktor Zakhaev, featuring classic features like the mystery box and the Pack-a-Punch machine.
Post-Launch Brilliance
But the excitement doesn’t stop after the release — Modern Warfare III keeps the thrill alive with regular post-launch content updates, including new maps, weapons, collaborations with other franchises, and limited in-game events.
Xbox Game Pass Dreams
Now, about Xbox Game Pass. While Modern Warfare III didn’t drop there right away, the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard hints at exciting possibilities. Imagine the blockbuster title making its way to the subscription service, opening doors and reaching an even wider audience.
Modern Warfare III is not just pixels on a screen; it’s a salute to the roots of Call of Duty’s legacy. As we all get sucked into the Modern Warfare III grind, keep those controllers warm, and let the gaming saga continue!

Kremlin Warns About Sending Lethal Arms to Ukraine
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Jan. 9, 2023.--Sending more lethal weapons to Ukraine, including French made combat tanks and U.S. Bradley Fighting vehicles, 55-year-old Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that the new weapons would prolong Ukraine’s suffering. President Joe Biden, 80, actually believes his 11-month old proxy war would vanquish the Russian army and topple the government of 70-year-old President Vladimir Putin. Unlike former President Donald Trump, Biden doesn’t know the difference between banana republics in the Caribbean and Latin America and the Russian Federation. What kind of delusion is Biden under to think pouring more weapons in Ukraine would result in a Russian defeat? Biden and Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky share the same misguided fantasy that they can beat the Russian military. Biden and Zelensky have convinced the Western Alliance to join their madness.
When backers of the Ukraine War talk about who’s at fault, they blame Putin for invading Ukraine. But any cursory check of the reality on the ground was that Putin had troops for at least eight years in Donetsk, Luhansk and the Crimean Peninsula. No Western nation backing Biden’s proxy war using Ukrainian troops considers the history of how this whole mess started. On Feb. 22, 2014, Putin hosted the Sochi Winter Olympics, watching a CIA-backed, pro-Western coup topple the Kremlin-backed Kiev government of Viktor Yanukovych. Putin enjoyed friendly ties with the Yanukovych government hosting his warm water naval base in Sevastopol, Crimea. So when Yanukovych was chased out of Kiev, Putin acted promptly March 1, 2014 to seize the Crimean Peninsula to save his naval base. No Western power or press wants to admit the antecedents to the Ukraine War.
Under the Obama administration, with Biden as Vice President, they began to arm Ukraine during the leadership of 57-year-old chocolate baron Petro Poroshenko. Poroshenko hoped with U.S. arms flowing into Ukraine he could retake the Crimean Peninsula. When that never happened, Poroshenko spent Ukraine’s national wealth fighting a bloody war in the Donbas region with Russian-backed troops from the Russian-speaking Peoples Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. Eight years of civil war resulting in over 14,000 deaths, accomplishing nothing for Poroshenko. Poroshenko lost his job, leading to a 40-year-old actor/comedian named Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky promised he would evict Russian forces from Ukraine, refusing to compromise with the Kremlin or the Russian-speaking regions of Donbas. When former President Doanld Trump left office in 2021, Zelensky had the perfect partner with Biden.
Unlike Trump that got along with Putin, Biden had a score to settle with Putin after beaten badly by the Kremlin in the Syrian War. Obama and Biden spent billions in a proxy war with Turkey to topple the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad. Obama and Biden demonized al-Assad, justifying their proxy war that killed at least 500,000, driving another 15 millions Syrians in exile. Obama and Biden were convinced they’d topple al-Assad pouring billions into Syria rebel groups with ties to al-Qaeda and ISIS, both enemies of the United States. Putin decided to save al-Assad in 2015, scuttling Obama and Biden’s proxy war, leaving Biden with a vendetta against Putin. Biden talks about how Western democracies must stand with Ukraine, one of the most corrupt former Soviet satellites in Europe. Biden had his own son, Hunter, making millions at a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company.
Trump understood the value of maintaining practical; and cooperative relationships with American’s adversaries, Russia and China, as did every other U.S. president since WW II. Yet Biden came to office with an anti-Putin chip on his shoulder picking immediate fights with Russia and China. Decades of cooperative, pragmatic relations with Russia and China were trashed in Biden’s first months in office. Backed by the U.S. press, Biden got the U.S. into the Ukraine War by ignoring attempts at diplomacy by Putin for month before the Feb. 24 invasion. Putin asked Biden on numerous occasions to sit down and work out new security arrangements in Ukraine and other parts of Eastern Europe. Biden told Putin his ideas were all “non-starters,” pushing Putin to invade Ukraine with a “special military operation” designed to de-militarize Ukraine from U.S. and NATO arms.
Biden’s biggest blunder was ending decades of cooperative ties to the Kremlin, opting instead to arm Ukraine, thinking he would weaken the Russian military and topple the Putin government. What U.S. president in their right mind would go to war against the Kremlin, all to back a corrupt, impoverished former Soviet satellite, promising to preserve democracy in Europe? When you listen to Zelensky speak to a joint session of the U.S. Congress Dec. 21, 2022, he told elected officials that giving Ukraine billions in aid is not charity but an “investment” in preserving democracy in Europe. Yet Democrats and Republicans applauded Zelensky’s claptrap, not realizing its utter rubbish. NATO, not Ukraine, assures the preservation of democracy in Europe. Zelsnky pressed NATO for “fast-track” membership and got nothing. Biden can’t see how his proxy war with the Kremlin has damaged U.S. national security.

Request: Silco/Viktor - A young Jinx and Silco don't always see Eye to.. Eyes. She runs to Viktor for reassurance/comfort.
as always, thank you for the request <3 this is probably not what you had in mind. But I think it's funny. This is actually set after this fic (context not necessary for anyone opening this fresh)
-
There was a child in Viktor's apartment.
This was particularly strange, because, well. A not insignificant number of reasons. The first of which being that he didn't have a child. The second of which being that he lived in a very nice house in piltover that was supposed to be fairly secure, given that he was the golden boy's partner. the third of which- no, actually, he reflected. The first two essentially summed it up. Any other points he could come back to would essentially be contained within those two ideas.
He moves into his living room with a certain degree of care, like he's approaching an experiment that might explode.
well, might explode in someone else's face. His own experiments he could be a little more enthusiastic with. He needn't have worried, because the girl looks up from where she's drawing on his table with markers and eyes him with the distrust of someone whose private space is being invaded, and Viktor thinks with amusement that he rather likes this child already.
"Hi." She says, without fanfare. "Dad's being a jerk."
Viktor blinks, because he wasn't entirely sure what he was expecting, but it wasn't that. "Fathers often are." he says. "Would you like some sweetmilk?" "--yeah." She says, setting her markers down.
As she stands, Viktor notes that she's in clothes that are new, but filthy- undercity money. A chem-baron, no one else could afford to keep their children in nice fabrics. No one got to keep their children clean. He's starting to get a sneaking suspicion, but he sets it down, keeps his expression mild as he leads the way to the kitchen, letting her trail after him. She hops up on his chair with confidence. "Why do you need a stick to walk?" She asks. "Why is your father mad at you?" Viktor counters, and she scowls, crossing her arms, but he just ignores the pout and goes to warm the milk.
"--He wasn't." She says, huffy. "Than what's wrong?" Viktor asks, tone soft, as he turns to look back at her.
She shifts in place, tugging at a small braid in her hair.
"-He wanted me to stop going on jobs." She says. "Jobs?" Viktor asks. "I make the bombs." She says. "I should get to go with them. It's not fair."
Ah, yes. Viktor knows exactly whose child this is.
"He probably just wants you safe." He says, stirring the pot on the stove. "I can be safe." She says, sulky. "I'm sure you can. But are you?"
She blinks at him, like she's never thought of it that way, and Viktor can feel the look even before he turns around. "I'm not very safe." He tells her, smiling a little. "Do you know who I am?" "Yeah." She says. "I found dad's file on you." Of course. Viktor silently drafts a note to Silco to send back with Jinx about keeping his files under better security. He knows she'll open it. Maybe some kind of cipher... "Well." he says. "I'm a scientist. I do very dangerous things every day. I handle explosives, too, of a kind." Her eyes are wide. "Dad's file didn't say that." He smiles. "They're not combat explosives. But anything can explode if you handle it-- right. you know that, i'm sure." "Of course I do." She says. "I'm an expert." "Of course you are."
Viktor pours two mugs of sweetmilk and brings one over to Jinx. He sits across from her. "Your father is afraid." he tells her. She looks shocked. "No he isn't." Viktor smiles a little. "Yes, he is. let me tell you a secret, Jinx. Everyone's afraid. All the time, at least a little. But real fear isn't fear for yourself, it's fear for other people. It's very easy to be brave when you can decide for yourself what to put at risk. Yourself, your limbs, your arms and legs. The latter can all be replaced. You can heal. Your father is afraid, because he cares about you." Jinx looks hesitant, a little scared, as she wraps her hands around her mug. "-I don't want to get left behind." She says.
Viktor nods. "I understand." he says. "Everyone runs ahead."
It's a second before he finds the words, but he gets there.
"Being safe isn't not going on the job." He says. "Or not doing the experiment. Everywhere in the world is dangerous. You simply need to learn to minimize your risks." She eyes him. "--How?" He smiles. "When you finish that, we're going to get you a disguise, and then you're going to come with me and we're going to learn about something Jayce likes to call basic lab safety."

Request: "Please make a fic where the reader (female or gn) is new to the Fire Force as an unpowered person and they become attached to Viktor"
Pairing: Viktor x Unpowered Fem!Reader
A/N: Thank you sm for the request, @thesolarflame! I really flip-flopped on what position to give the reader considering she is unpowered. I thought about making her a member of the science team, a fighter like Obi, and even making her a sister. I think everyone will enjoy what I landed on though!
When Vulcan first joined Company 8, he had done an inspection of their matchbox and all of their fire fighting equipment. Once he had finished going through their arsenal, he had explained to Obi that there was just far too much for him to maintain on his own while simultaneously developing new technology to assist them in battle.
Just maintaining the matchbox was a task in and of itself, let alone the fleet of weapons and armor that Obi donned every time they were called to the scene of a fire. He was a talented engineer, surely, but there was only so much one man could do.
Vulcan’s solution: he knew a girl.
He had wasted no time in gathering up Lisa and Yu and going on a little “family outing” before returning with the mysterious mechanic in tow, the woman receiving a warm - if chaotic, as per Company 8’s usual demeanor - welcome.
She was an engineer just like Vulcan, a talented technician who was nearly as famous as he was in their close knit junk-rat community. While Vulcan was renowned for his skill at creating unique and nearly indestructible machines, she was famous for her ability to keep machines going far passed the point they should have fallen to pieces.
Vulcan frequently tried to pick her brain on her uncanny ability but her answers were something that befuddled him more than anything else.
“It’s love. You can spend years building the most flawless, indestructible machine the world has ever seen but, without love, she’ll break down as surely as the sun rises. Love keeps things going when they should fall apart.”
Vulcan scoffed at her sentimentality and she laughed at his stubbornness, the two always returning to their friendly rivalry despite their differences in opinions. They would rag on each other and goad each other on but, through it all, he respected her skill and she respected his ingenuity.
As for the rest of the company, she got along well with the crew of fire soldiers. Despite her easy comradery with the others, however, she always felt out of place. After all, she wasn’t a fire soldier or even a pyrokinetic so suddenly getting wrapped up in all this business with infernals and the White Clad was disarming.
She had gone from her humble machine shop to a Fire Force cathedral, surrounded by people who could control bullets, who could make swords out of plasma, and who could even fly. She was just an engineer - and unpowered at that - and, despite how fulfilling her work was, she felt like she had lost her anchor joining Company 8.
Initially, she had latched onto Vulcan and Lisa for some sense of normality but the feeling of being a third wheel quickly overcame any comfort that came from their companionship. After all, the two mostly stuck to themselves, the two very much in love. More than that, with Lisa still dealing with her trauma from her experiences with the White Clad, Vulcan was even more unavailable than ever.
Feeling lost and out of place, she was surprised to find an easy companionship with Company 8’s one and only science officer.
Viktor had been the one to initiate their first real conversation, the man as curious as he was out of the ordinary. He had approached her while she had been having a conversation with the matchbox, praising her girl for doing such a great job during their last mission.
“Do you think the matchbox understands you?” Viktor asked, peeking down into the inspection pit beneath the vehicle where she spent a fair amount of her time. Despite how bluntly he phrased his question, there was no judgement in his tone. Just simple curiosity.
“I’m not sure if she understands my words but I think she understands what I’m saying, if that makes sense,” she answered with a friendly smile, already used to conversations like this with Vulcan.
“So, it’s more of you trying to get across your message and your intentions rather than believing you are having an actual conversation with a machine?”
“You could say that, although it still is a conversation. I listen and she tells me what’s wrong, so I fix her. Then she listens to me when I praise her and ask her to keep going. We talk, just not like you and I talk,” she explained, pleasantly surprised when he simply nodded in understanding.
Their conversation continued well into the afternoon, to the point where - after she had finished her tune up - the two had perched themselves on the bumper of the matchbox to continue their chat. It wasn’t until Vulcan had come out to collect them for dinner that they realized how long they had been talking and laughing, a situation that they would find themselves repeating every day for weeks.
Sometimes their conversations took place with her down in the inspection pit under the matchbox or her in the equipment room maintaining all of Company 8’s gear.
Sometimes they talked for hours in Viktor’s admittedly messy room (he tried to clean up just for her) or even on the roof of the cathedral.
Sometimes they chatted for hours at the dining room table, the entire company coming and going for lunch and then dinner and leaving them to their conversation with knowing smiles and teasing giggles.
She found herself relieved to have someone who understood her, both as an engineer and as an unpowered person, and Viktor found himself curious about the kind-hearted mechanic who defied the laws of physics with love. The two talked not just about engineering and science but about music, anime, their hobbies, and even their dreams.
As their conversations continued, they found themselves growing even closer than friends - casual flirts slipped into their conversations as readily as they talked about anything else. Teasing and blushing became as commonplace in their time together as mentions of physics and mechanics.
Despite how their relationship was slowly changing, she was always comfortable in Viktor’s company. He made her feel understood, safe, and anchored. He had become her port in the storm. She felt like she was at home when she was with him and, with the way he finally seemed to take a full breath when she was around, he felt the same.
One day, after being called to the scene of an infernalization, she had a close call with a first-generation pyrokinetic, the woman mad with pain and lashing out at anything that moved. It had been Viktor who had tackled her to the ground, covering her smaller body with his own and protecting her as the fireball rocketed through the space she had once occupied.
The rest of the crew had made short work of putting the woman to rest but Iris’ prayers had fallen on ringing ears as their engineer realized how close she had come to an agonizing death. It had put into perspective how truly dangerous these situations were for unpowered people like her and Viktor. They didn’t have the same fire resistance or combat training that the other members of Company 8 did and the very real peril left her shaken, even after they had returned to the cathedral.
It had been Viktor who had pulled her away from the rest of their company, guiding her into his quiet room so he could wrap his arms around her and pull her into his warm embrace. Her arms looped around his waist, the engineer settling against his solid chest and pressing her ear against his heartbeat.
It was a few minutes before they spoke but she felt no pressure from him to do so. Instead of pushing her, he quietly held her and stroked her back, her anxiety slowly settling as she was calmed by the warm embrace of the man she had fallen in love with.
“How do you do it? Go running into that every day? You’re unpowered too, doesn’t it scare you?” she finally asked, breaking the silence between them.
“Of course it does,” Viktor chuckled, his laughter vibrating in his chest as he rested his cheek against her hair, “I never know if today is going to be the last day I spend on this earth. But it’s worth it knowing that I’m actually learning something real about the world; that I’m where I should be.”
His next words were a bit quieter but no less passionate as he hummed them against her hair. “It’s worth it knowing you’re at my side.”
Pulling back, she looked up at him in surprise, and he gazed down at her with that same crooked smile. She was struck by the tenderness in his eyes and by the warmth in his expression - an affection that he only ever showed her. In that moment, she knew that she was also where she should be. That it was all worth it to her too, knowing that he was by her side.
Meeting Viktor's smile with one of her own, she stood on the tips of her toes, pressing a brief but sweet kiss to his cheek.
When she returned to her heels, gazing up at him with a gentle smile spread across her face, he stared back down at her in stunned wonder. A blush dusted his cheeks, his lips parted and his eyes rounded in surprise.
“Thank you for always being there with me, Viktor,” she thanked, feeling more at ease in his arms than she had ever felt anywhere else.
At her words, his smile returned, the corners of his lips quirking up although his blush remained. Reaching up, he cupped her cheeks in his broad hands before leaning down to press his lips to hers. Gently moving his lips against hers, they shared a tender, lingering kiss.
Just when she thought she might forget how to breathe, her heart swelling in her chest and stealing the air from her lungs, he pulled away.
“Always,” Viktor promised as he pressed his forehead to hers, gazing into her eyes with a loving expression.

Forge your legacy in the award-winning setting of the Iron Kingdoms with the celebrated 5th edition roleplaying game rules.
(Delivering September 2021)
Embark upon a journey of adventure and intrigue in a world where steam power and gunpowder meet sword and sorcery. Armed with mechanika and accompanied by mighty steamjacks, explore the soot-covered cities of the Iron Kingdoms and the aftermath of the otherworldly invasion of the infernals.
Take on the persona of unique character classes, like the gun mage, who combines powerful magic with a deadly acumen for firearms, or the steamjack-commanding warcaster, who can command 10-ton autonomous machines of war with just a thought. Explore a fantastic world rebuilding itself after an apocalypse as it marches onward with its industrial revolution.
The Iron Kingdoms possess a rich history—and a tumultuous future—full of unique monsters, deities, heroes, and villains.
More than a thousand years ago, the land that is now called the Iron Kingdoms was western Immoren, a mire of warring human city-states. Then came the Orgoth, conquest-driven imperialists from beyond the sea who laid low the cities of man with forbidden magic and changed the face of western Immoren forever. The Orgoth Empire occupied the land for six hundred years before the people of Immoren banded together to defeat the invaders and drive them back across the sea from whence they came. While the rebel armies kept the peace, their leaders convened in a city called Corvis. This Council of Ten drafted the Corvis Treaties after weeks of furious debate, and the Iron Kingdoms were born.
Strictly speaking, the term “Iron Kingdoms” refers to the lands of humanity, those five kingdoms that signed the Corvis Treaties: Cygnar, Khador, Llael, Ord, and the Protectorate of Menoth. Other nations of western Immoren are commonly included in that description, although they took no part in the treaties. In the frigid north is the dwarven kingdom of Rhul. To the northeast lies the mysterious homeland of the elves, Ios. The last kingdom informally included when speaking of the “Iron Kingdoms” is the hostile island nation of Cryx, ruled over by Lord Toruk, the Dragonfather. All these nations—and many more—share the continent of Immoren.
The Orgoth were driven from western Immoren more than four hundred years ago, but the decisions made during the rebellion still echo through the world. There are many strange legends from the last days of that war—tales of dark, mysterious allies who helped drive off the invaders. Some say it would have been impossible to defeat the Orgoth without this help, that the rebel leaders had to make dangerous deals with infernal powers. These tales have proven true, and the Iron Kingdoms have recently been irrevocably changed by the Claiming, an attempt by these infernal creatures to take the payment they have long been owed—an unfathomable number of souls.
Full. Metal. Fantasy.
Delve into the award-winning world of the Iron Kingdoms with the latest edition of the Iron Kingdoms Role Playing Game from Privateer Press. Iron Kingdoms: Requiem combines this fantastic setting with the newest edition of the world’s most popular roleplaying game.
Inside this book you’ll find the history of the Iron Kingdoms and information describing the current state of the world following the Claiming. Alongside these chapters is an extensive gazetteer providing detailed information on the most notable of the world’s unique and fascinating locations.
When making a character, you’ll be able to choose from many of the familiar countries and cultures of the setting. Whether you want to be a human, gobber, trollkin, Rhulic dwarf, ogrun, Iosan, or Nyss elf, this book provides all the rules that make these different peoples unique. When choosing a class, there are options for many you’re already familiar with, from the stalwart man-at-arms fighter to the free-flowing monk of the Order of the Fist. Beyond these are brand new rules for playing the characters that make the Iron Kingdoms such a memorable setting. These new classes include, among others, gun mages, arcane mechanics, combat alchemists, and warcasters.
Alongside these options are new feats, spells, and backgrounds to make your characters feel even more a part of the world of the Iron Kingdoms.
Finally, within the pages of Iron Kingdoms: Requiem are extensive rules for the arcane technologies of the setting. These rules cover subjects from firearms and mechanika, like the galvanic arms and armor of the storm knight, to the mighty warjacks that accompany warcasters into battle.
"Before the Iron Kingdoms became a land dominated by industry and machines, it was the monsters that defined it."
— Professor Viktor Pendrake, author of the Monsternomicon
In the Iron Kingdoms peril lurks at every turn, as fearsome and terrifying creatures both great and small look to turn unwary adventurers into their next meal or enslave them beyond death. From ferocious packs of ravenous burrow-mawgs to deadly ethereal pistol wraiths that haunt the back roads and forgotten cemeteries, and the fiendish Infernals that still stalk the shadows, the Monsternomicon is filled with creatures both mundane and supernatural to challenge even the most experienced adventuring parties.
This legendary tome includes over 80 monsters, new and old, steeped in over 20 years of worldbuilding, now appearing for the first time with 5th Edition rules.

Discover the origins of the legend that started it all...
Twenty-one years ago, the Iron Kingdoms was introduced through an acclaimed series of adventures known as The Witchfire Trilogy. Now, the legend continues in the newest edition of the Iron Kingdoms RPG, written for 5e.

Hellbent to spare her mother an eternity of torture, Alexia Ciannor stole the accursed sword and set out to unlock its dark secrets. With the voices of the Witchfire's imprisoned souls raging in her mind, Alexia would eventually unlock the power of the Infernal artifact and command an army of undead to vanquish the villains seeking to use the sword to once again subjugate the Iron Kingdoms.
Nearly two decades later, the veteran of countless wars, Alexia returns to Corvis, the City of Ghosts, in search of help from the malignant forces that seek the return of the coveted sword. The Witchfire's true purpose is finally revealed, and only the courage and sacrifice of a small group of unlikely heroes can save Alexia from the brink of madness and prevent the infernal weapon from fulfilling its apocalyptic legacy.

he travels to the dimensions he has access to and time lines in hopes to find Marvin, taking Daniel along with no choice
he lands in our dimension and timeline to sense that his powers are close by
He ends up sabotaging Marvin’s performance with fire magic in order to kill him or capture him but it fails- he looses sight of him
While he is searching through the streets, he over hears talk about the human body. He comes across Viktors practice building and opens the door a crack. He can sense so many souls and blood in that building and gets vastly curious. He notices people injured and ill, waiting for care. He hatches an idea.
He returns to Daniel and possesses his body. He takes Daniel to an alley way close to the building, away from the eyes of others. He grabs the sharpest thing he can find and plunges it deep into the side of his neck and carves it out slowly and rips it out.
He quickly makes Daniel reach the building and barges in, causing everyone to look on in horror. The nurses there rush to his aid as Phonus makes Daniel gasp and hold his neck to try to stop the bleeding. Nurses page for Viktor asap as they get Daniel to a stretcher and room fast. Viktor arrives shortly after and is fast to help Daniel. Daniel just looks at Viktor and tries to nod.
Once the nurses leave for a brief moment and its just him and Viktor, Phonus makes the door lock them inside.
Viktor goes to inject him with medication but Daniel reaches out and grabs Viktors arm. He say to Daniel that he knows needles are scary but you need this now, let go please. Daniel sits up and twists Viktors arm, causing Viktor to wince in pain while looking shocked.
He grabs Daniels hand with his free one and tries to pry it away, but can't. Daniel kicks him away, causing him to stumble and fall to the ground. He gets up from the bed. The lights inside the room begin to flicker faster and faster. Electronics in the room flickering on and off, radios and tv consumed with fast stations, fluctuating volumes, and static. Viktor gets to his feet and hears all this noise and sees this horror in front of him.
Phonus leaves Daniels body, causing Daniel's wound to disappear. Phonus stands in front of him.
He gets inside of Viktors mind to find all that he can about the human body and the amount of pain that it can handle.
He sees in Viktors mind a young man with curly blonde hair. And for a brief moment inside of Viktors mind, he sees Marvin
in the end he ends up taking Marvin captive but finds that the powers are gone.
he keeps marvin around because he sees too, that he gave that blonde boy his powers
so he is on the hunt for Riley

Happy STS from your moral support dragon. How do your characters react in a confrontation? Which one is afraid of fighting, which one starts the fights they can’t win, and which one can win any fight wether the started it or not? Have a wonderful day!
Happy STS to you too!
So if all of my characters got into a fight it would be a big mess. Everybody shouting at somebody else and it wouldn’t end well for some.
But let’s start right at the beginning. Who started this fight?
Well... it probably was Viktor. As he sometimes doesn’t know when to shut up. Maybe he even just looked wrong at Liz. She’s easily provoked and can start a fight about anything.
Also she’d win because you don’t want to make her even angrier than she already is. So just let her win and be mad at you for a few hours. Better than her chasing you with a knife in her hand.
Because that’s not going to end well. Also don’t try to pick a physical fight with her. Her knifes are sharper and faster than you think.
So let’s switch sides and go to the good people. Max started the fight with Jennifer because he wouldn’t let her do something her way. She can go on for quite some time with ranting. She’ll always win because... you can’t outsmart her. She’s always one step ahead of you in any argument. Don’t even try. In physical fights she’ll almost definitely destroy you with weaponless combat. Jennifer takes your weapons M, makes them useless and then still kicks your a**.
Max and Michael try to win the fights, sometimes they succeed in their quests to get along with their girlfriends. But oh boy if they do something wrong they are screwed. It’s like a sitcom but they can’t laugh about the events. Better let the girls win. That’s all they can do.
Marie and Helena never ever get mad at each other. But Marie gets mad at Max quite some times. Just try to stay calm and don’t anger her more. She’ll not attack you but be mad at you for some time. Just apologize with some flowers. Surely that will help.
And then there’s Brianna. The most innocent of them all. She doesn’t want to fight anyone. Not that she’s too weak for it. But rather to innocent.a totally fluffy sparkling unicorn. She just wants to be girly sometimes but isn’t a weak woman. Just avoiding any form of combat is her preferred way of dealing with everything. Staying out of trouble in any way is just what she’s doing. If you get her into an argument, she’ll try to apologize to you even if you did something wrong and not she. Overall she’s too shy and innocent for that. Someone give her a hug!

Chapter Nine A Place To Hide
In the moment between Kingsley’s announcement that the Ministry had fallen and the time it took the silver lynx to vanish, Harry envisioned a dozen balcony kisses and quiet nights that he could have shared with Ginny, snatched away in a moment. It was hard to feel anything but anger.
Someone screamed and there was a crash overhead, like the sound of a Shield Charm breaking. He fumbled in his robes for his wand. Guests ran for the edge of the tent, only to be greeted by hooded and masked figures. Some Disapparated; some were Stunned.
“Protego!” several voices shouted. Harry turned to see Remus, Tonks, and Sirius cast Shield Charms as guests behind them Disapparated with sudden pops.
“They already broke the protective charms —” Ginny ducked, and pulled Harry down with her as a purple spark passed over their heads.
Harry cast a Shield Charm over the two of them and Ginny grabbed her wand. She hit a hooded figure with a Stunning spell. Harry wanted to stay and fight alongside her, but if the Death Eaters discovered him —
“Harry!” Ron appeared suddenly with Hermione and grabbed they both arm. “We have to leave — now.”
And as Ron pulled him away from Ginny, Harry realised that this was the moment. There would be no tearful goodbyes with his parents. There would be no words of encouragement from Picksie. There would be no final offers from Tonks or Remus. There would not be another fight with Sirius. This was it.
“Are we bringing Cedric?” Hermione asked.
Harry ducked under another curse and scanned the chaos of the battle. He found Cedric not far from where he and Ginny had left him, still with Viktor and Christian.
Cedric hastily cast a Shield Charm as Viktor fired a curse as loud as a cannon’s boom off into a cluster of cloaked combatants. Christian was only a few paces further, slowly being forced back by a pair of Death Eaters as he Shielded himself and Gabrielle.
Harry hesitated, but only for a moment. Ginny had made a point — Cedric, while he may take time to work up his courage, did not back down from a fight.
“Cedric!” he shouted. He stepped as far away from Hermione as he dared.
Cedric turned, brow creased. He seemed both surprised and confused to see that Harry was still here. While Harry couldn’t hear what Cedric shouted back, the meaning was clear.
Go.
For whatever reason, Cedric wasn’t coming.
Someone else shouted for Harry. He turned, just in time to see his parents. James fired curses from the cover of Luna and Neville’s Shield Charms, and Lily, wandless, searched the crowd and called desperately for Harry.
Harry met Lily’s eyes from across the tent, then Hermione’s hand closed on his wrist, and the wedding vanished.
There was a moment of silence as the pressure around Harry’s ears decreased, and a bit of pain and discomfort as he compressed in on himself, and then with a pop, Hermione had Apparated them to safety.
Harry opened his eyes, blinking as he took in the new crowds of people rushing around him. People dressed in casual Muggle attire streamed past him, Ron, and Hermione. A few stared as they passed. Automobiles hurried down the street, and shop window displays glared brightly in the night.
“Where are we?” Ron asked, as Hermione pulled them down the street.
“Tottenham Court Road,” Hermione said in a rush. “Hurry, hurry — we need to find somewhere to change.”
“We haven’t anything to change into,” Ron protested as he followed Hermione.
Harry cursed himself for not carrying the Cloak on him at the wedding. He had carried it and the map on his person for an entire year, but he had let a wedding and the illusion of safety catch him off guard. Mad-Eye would be furious.
“It’s okay,” Hermione said, though she did not sound okay. “I’ve got clothes. Just try and act naturally — oh, this will do.” She pulled the boys into a side street, a tight narrow alley between two shops, not unlike the entrance to Knockturn Alley.
In the shadowy space, Hermione opened up her beaded handbag and reached inside. Harry stared as her entire arm disappeared into the small bag.
“Undetectable Extension Charm?” he asked.
She nodded. “It’s tricky, but I think I’ve done it okay. I’ve managed to fit everything we need in here.” She pulled out a change of clothes and tossed them to Ron. “Harry, you’d better get under the Cloak.” She stuck her arm back into the bag and her mouth pursed in the way it did when she was focusing hard on a difficult Transfiguration problem as she searched her deceptively large bag for the Invisibility Cloak.
“When did you do all this?” Ron asked as he pulled his robes over his head.
“I told you at the Burrow, I’ve been packing. I thought we might need to make a quick getaway and I… I just had a feeling…”
“You’re amazing, you are.” Ron handed his robes to Harry and pulled on the T-shirt and jeans Hermione had handed him.
“Ah — here.” She pulled the shimmering fabric out from the bag.
Harry traded her Ron’s robes for the cloak and hastily pulled it over his shoulders and head. “What about everyone else at the wedding?” he asked.
“We can’t worry about that.” Hermione fastened her bag. “You’re the one they’re after. We would put everyone in more danger by going back.”
Harry looked down at his wand and wondered if his parents were glad that he had gotten away or if they were upset that he had left without them. His gut twisted both with guilt and fear.
“Come on,” Hermione said, and took Ron’s hand. “We ought to keep moving.”
“Your dress, Hermione,” Ron pointed out.
“You can change under the Cloak,” Harry offered.
“We can’t risk someone spotting you,” she said. “I’ll be alright.” She dug through her bag one more time and retrieved a coat. It did not minimise the dramatics of her shimmering dress as much as Harry would have liked.
“Why Tottenham Court Road?” Ron asked as Hermione pulled him up the street.
Harry hurred after them, careful to stay on Ron’s heels so that the crowd would not bump into him.
“It just popped into my head,” Hermione said, snapping perhaps a bit more harshly than Harry thought was warranted. “I’m sure we’re safer out in the Muggle world. It’s not where they’ll expect us to be.”
“Yeah,” Ron said. “It just feels a bit exposed —”
Across the street, a pair of men whistled loudly. One called out to Hermione, “Ditch ginger and come with us!”
Ron turned to glare, but Hermione ignored the attention and hurried down the street.
“Maybe we should get inside somewhere,” she conceded, and pulled Ron into a small cafe. A neon sign on the window advertised all-night service, though the shop itself was empty.
Harry was hit with the scent of burnt coffee and stale pastries as Hermione pushed the door open. A bell overhead jingled, and a voice called out from a back room that someone would be out in a moment.
Hermione slid into a booth in the corner, choosing the side that gave her a view of the door. Ron sat beside her, leaving Harry to take the seat with his back to the entrance. He did not care for it, but under the Cloak, he could not complain.
“Where do we go, then?” Harry whispered. He was anxious to keep moving. Ron may have felt exposed on the street, but Harry felt like a sitting target inside this cheap wooden booth.
“We can’t go anywhere they might look for us,” Hermione said. “There’s a chance my parents house might be safe, but I don’t know.”
“We aren’t far from the Leaky Cauldron,” Ron suggested. “I don’t mean to stay,” he added hastily when Hermione glared at him. “Just that we could try to find out what’s happened —”
“We know what’s happened!” Hermione said. “Voldemort’s taken over the Ministry. What else do we need to know?”
Ron did not say anything, and neither did Harry, but Harry privately agreed with Ron. There was a lot they needed to know.
Harry needed to know if his parents had made it out safely, if Ginny was alright. He needed to know if Remus and Sirius and Tonks were safe, and where Picksie and Regulus had gone, or if they were still trapped at the Burrow. He needed to know why Cedric had not come with them.
“Grimmauld Place,” he said suddenly.
The shop bell jingled and Harry jumped. He turned and watched two men in overalls slip into a nearby booth. Just as Harry was settling back into his seat, a waitress came out from a back room and approached their table.
Hermione hastily ordered two cappuccinos and the woman went to take down the order of the two men. They waved her off, and Harry frowned.
“We can’t go to Grimmauld Place,” Hermione whispered. “Snape knows its location.”
Harry kept his gaze on the men in the booth. “Cedric thinks it’s safe. I think he’s planning to meet us there. He said he wanted to look at the Black library again —”
Harry stood before he had quite realised what he was doing. The two men in overalls had also stood — and they had drawn wands.
“Stupefy!” Harry shouted as one of the men launched a curse at Ron.
Ron ducked and pulled Hermione under the table with him. The Death Eater’s curse struck the wall where Ron had just been. Harry’s struck true, knocking one of the men back into the table he had been sitting at. The one still on his feet could not see Harry, and for lack of a better target, fired another curse at Ron. Thick, dark coils of rope shot from his wand, snaking their way under the table and binding Ron’s feet.
The waitress, who had appeared with her cappuccinos just in time to see one man thrown into a wall by an unseen force and the other tying up one of her customers, screamed and ran for the door.
Harry tried to Stun the second Death Eater as he had the first one, but the waitress, in her hasty exit, ran right into him. She stumbled to the floor and Harry’s spell went wild. It struck the window, and the glass shattered.
As the waitress fell, the Death Eater seemed to realise what was going on.
“Expulso!” he shouted in Harry’s direction.
The small explosion blew both Harry and the waitress into the wall. He had barely gotten his arm up to protect his face when the table slammed against him. His head struck the wall and his vision darkened for a moment.
“Petrificus Totalus!” Hermione shouted, and with a thud the Death Eater fell flat on his back, body rigid.
Harry struggled to bring the world back into focus. He pushed the table off of him with a huff and checked on the Muggle waitress. She had collapsed beside him and blood pooled where her head had struck the floor.
Harry’s own head throbbed, and the back of his neck felt warm, but he prioritised the waitress’s wounds.
“D-diffindo,” Hermione stuttered as she attempted to free Ron. Her spell, aimed for the ropes around his legs, missed, cutting across his legs. Blood soaked his jeans and Ron bit down on his wrist to stifle a yell of pain.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Hermione said hastily. “My hand’s shaking — Diffindo.”
When Harry was sure that he had done enough to at least keep the waitress alive, he took a look at Ron’s leg.
Though the initial gush of blood made it look bad, Harry had an easy time knitting Ron’s wound closed. He helped Ron stand and they climbed over the rubble of the small explosion to where the Death Eaters were laid out on the linoleum flooring.
“What do we do?” Hermione whispered. “How did they find us? What are we supposed to —”
“This one’s seen you with us, Harry,” Ron gestured to the one Hermione had Petrified. Though his body was motionless, his eyes flicked over the three of them. “Dolohov, I think. The other’s Rowle. I recognise them from their posters.”
“Who cares who they are!” Hermione said. “We can’t let them tell the others that they’ve seen Harry!”
“Do we… kill them?” Ron asked.
Harry glanced out the shattered window. People across the street were beginning to take notice.
“We don’t need to kill them,” Harry said. “Ron, can you get the lights? Hermione — do you think you could erase his memory?”
“I-I can try,” she said, as Ron used the Deluminator to click off the lights in the shop. Her voice still trembled, and Harry remembered how she had missed a simple Severing Charm when freeing Ron.
“You can do it, Hermione,” he said. “Just erase any memory of us being here. Ought to do the waitress, too. Ron, help me set the place right. Can’t have them waking up wondering who they dueled.”
“Right,” Ron said, and struggled to pull his wand out of his tight jeans.
It helped to have a task, even something as unimportant as repairing a Muggle shop. He and Ron worked in relative silence, whispering incantations to remove evidence of their physical presence, while Hermione very carefully removed the memories of their presence.
When Hermione had finished, Ron helped her get the Death Eaters back into their booth. Harry, with some effort, dragged the waitress behind the counter.
“But how did they find us?” Hermione asked again, voice thick with anxiety. “How did they know we were here?”
“Let’s discuss it somewhere safer,” Harry said. He reached for Hermione’s hand.
“Are you sure Grimmauld Place is really safe —”
“It has to be,” he said, if only because he needed it to be true. “It’ll also be the best place to get news from the Order.”
Hermione chewed on her lower lip for a moment. “Okay.”
Ron clicked the Deluminator, illuminating the cafe once more, then took Hermione’s hand. The three of them Disapparated on the spot, and reappeared in the small park that marked the heart of Grimmauld Place.
Harry hastily pulled the cloak over himself, feeling stupid for having forgotten before they had Disapparated. Then he crossed the street to number twelve, unique from the others on the street in both its dark paint and because none of the Muggles — nor any wizards outside the Order — could see it.
The black door had no knob, but Harry tapped it with his wand. Through the thick wood, he heard a series of chains coming undone, and locks clicking open. Bolts slid back into the wall and the door swung inward.
The hallway was dark as Harry stepped inside.
“Careful, mate,” Ron said. “Dad said they set traps in case Snape ever came back.”
“You didn’t mention this sooner?” Hermione snapped at him.
But Harry understood why. Ron wanted to be somewhere connected to the Order as badly as he did.
Harry lit his wand, but he did not see any sign of a trap. Portraits lined the corridor, and the large portrait of Walburga Black at the end was still shrouded. The staircase wound up into the bedrooms upstairs and the cluttered attic above. The carpet, though worn and thin, was clean and the bannister even looked recently polished.
“Kreacher seems to be keeping the place up,” Harry whispered.
“I always thought he might bugger off if Regulus had abandoned the place,” Ron said.
“I don’t think he can just ‘bugger off,’” Hermione hissed.
Harry took another step into the hall, and Mad-Eye Moody’s voice, eerie and distorted, echoed in the hall.
”Severus Snape?”
“We’re not Snape!” Harry said, but the words had hardly left his mouth when a burst of cold air passed over them, and his tongue folded in on itself. He could not speak, and the panic made it hard to breathe.
But it was brief. The wind subsided, and with it, the curse in his mouth. Ron retched and Hermione gasped for breath.
“That —” she coughed, “I think it was — m-must have have been — a T-Tongue-Tying Curse.”
Harry swallowed. Surely Mad-Eye had done more than that to keep Snape out of the Order’s former Headquarters. He stepped forward again, wand brandished, but unsure what to be prepared for or what he could do to counter it.
At the end of the hall, something moved. Harry froze, but it did not. From the floor, a gray, ghostly figure rose. He had the familiar flowing beard and tall frame, but the body was bent at odd angles, and the eyes sunken. It looked all too much like the broken form that had laid on the ground beneath the Astronomy Tower.
Hermione screamed, and the portrait of Walburga Black joined her, curtains flying apart and her mournful shriek filling the entire house.
The thin, wasted arm lifted and gestured silently at Harry, pointing with an accusing finger. It began to glide toward them, picking up speed as it approached.
“We didn’t kill you!” Harry shouted, and as he did, the figure burst apart. The house seemed to settle, and the only sound was Walburga Black, still shrieking about the atrocities of Mudbloods and half-breeds and blood-traitors in her home.
Hermione had nearly collapsed from fright, and Ron awkwardly held her.
“I-it’s alright,” he said. “It’s gone… whatever it was…”
Harry, though afraid of what else might appear, approached Walburga’s portrait. No other horrors or curses rose to greet him, and he struggled to pull the black curtains of her portrait closed. It was like trying to push past a Shield Charm. The curtains simply would not rejoin. She seemed intent on holding onto her brief moment of wakefulness for as long as she could.
Just as Harry was about to give up and try Stunning the portrait, a pair of pale hands gripped the curtains and pushed. Together, they re-sealed the portrait, and silenced the Black family matriarch, at least for the moment.
Panting, Harry looked up at his helper, and was surprised to see Regulus Black.
Without thinking about it, Harry embraced him.
Regulus went stiff beneath Harry’s arms, and was unsure what to do with his own arms. He held them out from himself uncomfortably for a moment, then finally said, “Er — I am not Sirius.”
“I know,” and Harry could not help but laugh. He was so overcome with relief to know that at least one person was safe. “How did you get here? When —”
“I have not been here long,” Regulus said. “As soon as I saw the Death Eaters arrive at the Burrow, I Disapparated. I’m afraid some of them are familiar with my feline form. Hiding wasn’t an option, and neither was helping.”
The guilt Harry felt for running was lessened a bit. Staying would have put people in danger, and though he had known that, hearing Regulus echo the sentiment helped him accept it.
“Is anyone else here?” Harry asked.
“Only Kreacher.”
Hermione and Ron reached the end of the corridor. Ron was still pale, and Hermione was wiping tears from her cheeks.
“Did you see… that apparition when you arrived?” Hermione asked.
Regulus’ face was grim. “It was equally unpleasant for me.” He glanced at the concealed portrait of his mother. “Come. Let’s not linger.”
They followed Regulus upstairs and into the drawing room. On the landing, however, something caught Harry’s eye. He started for the study instead.
“What is it?” Ron asked.
The door had not been entirely closed, and while that would not have seemed odd to Harry, the doorframe looked wrong. He approached and ran his hand down the wood casing. It had been bent out of shape as if it had been struck by a stray Bludger. A crack splintered the wood and the frame sagged at a dangerous angle. Nervously, Harry pushed the door open. Behind him, Hermione gasped in horror.
The floor was black with ash, and the bookshelves charred. Everything in the study had burned.
“What happened?” Hermione asked.
Harry thought the answer was obvious. Someone had burned the books in the Black library.
“So much for researching Horcruxes,” Ron said.
“It was like this when I arrived,” Regulus said, voice pained.
It had not been long ago that Regulus had attacked Mundungus in Knockturn Alley in an attempt to take back some Black family silver, though doing so had nearly gotten him caught by the Ministry. Harry did not think for a moment that Regulus had anything to do with this.
“Could it have been Sirius?” Harry asked.
“He’s always been the volatile one,” Regulus said, “but I have no proof one way or another. Perhaps, in a hasty exit, someone did a poor job of disposing of Order secrets.”
“This is awful,” Hermione whispered.
“Come,” Regulus said, and closed the door as best as he could. “Tell me what you know. Perhaps we can get a clearer picture of the evening’s events.”
They followed Regulus back into the drawing room. Harry sank into a chair and tried to ignore his headache. Ron peered out the window as Hermione shared with Regulus how they had run and been followed.
Once Harry realised that Regulus had left the wedding even before they had, he didn’t care much about what was said. He tuned Hermione out, uninterested in hearing her version of the evening he had already endured. It didn’t help, either, that his scar had begun to prickle.
“You handled that well,” Regulus said, when she told him how she had removed the Death Eaters’ memories.
“It was Harry’s idea,” she said.
He half-heartedly waved away her thanks, and rubbed at his scar. He didn’t understand why it was bothering him now…
“We still don’t know how they found us,” Hermione said.
“I thought it might be the Trace,” Ron said, and Harry briefly wondered why Ron had not brought it up earlier, “but that would mean leaving Harry. And anyway, they haven’t followed us here.”
“No, I don’t think it was the Trace,” Regulus said, and ran his hand over his mouth. He leaned back in his chair and gazed at the window, though curtains covered it. “No matter what it was, at least you’re safe here, for the time being. With any luck, the Order —”
Harry yelped suddenly, and doubled over in his seat. He ran his hands over his forehead as the prickling turned into a white-hot searing pain.
“Harry?” Hermione cried, and Harry felt a hand on his shoulder — too sturdy to be Hermione’s, and too calloused to be Regulus’.
“What is it, Harry?” Ron asked.
The pain faded, leaving Harry with nothing but a dull throb.
“What did you see?” Ron pressed.
“Nothing,” Harry muttered. “He’s just angry. Really angry.”
“But is he at the Burrow? Is he cursing someone? What did you see —”
“I didn’t see anything! You think I don’t want to know where he is as badly as you do?” Harry let his glasses fall to the floor and pressed the heels of his hands against his eyes.
“Your scar?” Hermione asked. “I thought that connection had closed —”
“Well it reopened,” Harry snapped.
“But you’ve got to close it again! Dumbledore didn’t want you to use that connection. It’s dangerous — Voldemort can use it against you —”
“Yeah, I remember.” Harry remembered quite bitterly how he had tried to save Snape, how he had had faith in Snape’s love for Lily, only for it to have all been a trap, a trap that had been Snape’s idea in the first place.
“Harry,” Regulus’ voice was much softer and far less desperate than Ron and Hermione, “is that blood?”
Harry, though the pressure in his head was still overwhelming, nodded. “Hit my head in the cafe. It’s fine, though.” He fought the urge to be sick and wished desperately for a glass of water.
Hermione gasped suddenly, forcing Harry to open his eyes. A silver streak of light had entered through the window, and it took the shape of a weasel on the drawing room floor.
Mr. Weasley’s voice emanated from the weasel. “Family safe. Do not reply. We are being watched.”
And then the apparition was gone.
Beside him, Ron collapsed onto the floor with relief and a half-laugh. Harry envied him.
Another surge of pain lanced through Harry’s scar and his stomach twisted. He felt hot and cold at once and stood, meaning to get to a bathroom, to get out of this room and away from the worry of his friends, but he was too slow. He only made it two steps before he collapsed to the floor and the drawing room of Grimmauld Place vanished.
The long dining hall was illuminated only by the fireplace at the end. The chandelier above the table glittered as it reflected the flames, but otherwise sat dark. At his feet, a Death Eater writhed in pain. The man’s scream echoed in the large hall. But he, standing still and wandless, was not the one torturing this failure. He had delegated this task to another. Draco Malfoy stood at his side, face ashen, wand outstretched and trembling.
“More, Dolohov?” he asked, as the screaming paused, replaced with breathy sobs. A mockery of curiosity curled around his words as he continued taunting, “Or shall we end it and feed you to Nagini? Lord Voldemort is not sure that he will forgive you this time. You called me back, merely for this? Merely to tell me that Potter had escaped again? Draco, give Dolohov another taste of our displeasure.”
Draco’s lips trembled, but the Unforgivable did not issue forth right away.
“Do it, or feel my wrath yourself!”
Harry resurfaced in his own body and gasped as if he had come up for air. Everything inside felt too warm, like he was overheating, but his skin prickled with cold. His head throbbed and though his vision was blurry, he could tell that Ron, Hermione, and Regulus were all kneeling over him. He swallowed down the bit of bile that tried to climb up his throat.
“What did you see?” Regulus asked. The question was so calm, so steady, that Harry, too, felt steadier even as he blinked, struggling to bring the world back into focus.
“He knows,” Harry said. “He knows where we were tonight.”
Hermione choked on a sob. “I’m sorry — I did my best —”
“It’s alright,” Regulus said, voice as even as ever. “Harry, who did you see?”
“Dolohov — and Malfoy.”
“No one else?”
Harry shook his head, though the act made him dizzy. He heard relief in Regulus’ sigh and, despite how awful his entire body felt, also felt a bit of Regulus’ relief. Voldemort was torturing Dolohov, which meant that Voldemort did not have James, Lily, Remus, or Sirius. Most likely, he had not captured anyone in the Order.
For now, at least, everyone was safe.

2p’s less to more insecure and their biggest insecurities
Anonyme said :From a scale between 1 to 10, rate each 2P that's the most insecure of themselves and name each one that has the biggest insecurity they have.
Warning : The 2p’s are here classed from the more to the less insecure, according to their troubles and personalities. However, if they were in the real life, all of them would be very unstable because if I must class them according to a “normal person”, they all would be between 10 and 6 of instability. So, it’s not because some have a 1/10 that they are in the same state as a sane person. And more insecure is not more dangerous, some are at the bottom of the ranking and are more dangerous that some that are at the top. The ranking would be totally different if they would have been class depending on the dangerousness.
PS : Sorry for my bad english, I’m french...
2p!France (1/10) :
Except that he suffers from a sort of depressive melancholy that makes him drink and smoke almost every time, François has no interest in killing or torturing; he hates that because it brings nothing to him and his legendary laziness push him to do the minimum. His couldn’t-give-a-damn attitude is his main trait; he doesn’t care about anything and nothing really have his interest. He might want to have experiences (mostly sexual ones), but even that does not really interest him. He’s maybe depressive, but he never complains about his life. He’s cold and detached and it brings him a good objective vision of others’ madness; but for that too, he doesn’t care.
Even if he does not care about anything, he’s still human – maybe old from hundreds of years, but still human – and feelings scared him. Not because it’s like a weakness like what thinks 2p!America, but more because he does not understand them and as a writer who analyze others and their feelings that he feels they unsettle him. He prefers to have an impartial vision of others, not like some sort of god, but more in order not to resemble the other nations from whom he feels very detached.
2p!Spain (1/10) :
The only thing that we can reproach Andres is his love for swords and knives, which he makes a big collection in his cellar. If during his pirate period he was way more redoubtable, killing without mercy, he puts it on the madness of adolescence. When he grew up, he became, if not exactly a pacifist, at least less violent. He doesn’t kill, either torture anyone and doesn’t particularly enjoy hurting people. On the other hand, he’s very cold and grumpy, but far from mean and cruel. He yet perfectly knows how to handle fighting sword and this single capacity is enough to intimidate a potential opponent.
There isn’t much to which Andres is really attached to and his quite cold personality does not really tell if he feels insecure about anything. Perhaps he is afraid to fall again in his pirate period and to bring out again the violent and bloodthirsty side that every 2ps possess. He never accepted that he may be as crazier as the others, so fall back into violence scared him.
2p!Canada (2/10) :
Matt is quite calm most of the time, but behind this pacific appearance hides a really close combat expert. He sometimes goes to destroy faces from little rascals with his brother and his famous hockey stick, but that is not often. However, there is one thing for which Matt could become a real murderer; when he goes for a walk in the forest and he discovers hunters killing animals. He often goes out looking for them with his gun and he kills them, sometimes giving the rest to his bear Kuma.
Matt is a loner who lives far from men and their madness, shut away in the forest where he cuts wood and kills hunters. Then, his worst fear is precisely men and even worse the crowd. He suffers from a big ochlophobia which makes him panic if he finds himself in the middle of them. He never goes to the town, barely if he goes to the village near him to restock his fridge. But he never stays long in contact with other men. He’s a lonely wolf who prefers the tranquility of nature rather than human company. The only ones he manages to tolerate is his family.
2p!Germany (2/10) :
Lutz is far away from the others’ mental troubles. He’s a joker, warm and franc character. At first sight, he seems very different from the others 2ps because almost every of them are crazy and murderer, but Lutz also has his inner demons. If he’s ordinary a very good person in the real life, when comes wars or crisis, he becomes particularly violent and cruel when it’s about defending himself. The torture is an activity he then really loves and he’s exceptionally good at it because incredibly inventive when he has to hurt someone.
If he’s creative about torture, he’s not a fine strategist and setting up attack plans are not in his ability. He’s more the big beefy fellow type who’s giving orders and execute them, even if he hates that. If he was smarter, he could be the brain, but that’s not the case he deplores that. He can’t stand people mocking him because of his lack of discernment and his ability to think.
2p!Russia (3/10) :
Viktor is quite sane compared to others. Well, at least, he wouldn’t kill unlike by accident or by absolute necessity. However, he’s quite capable of torturing if necessary and without qualms if it’s a stranger. He may carry a shovel everywhere, but it’s more to frighten people who want to attack him than to bury them. Yet, he still knows how to terribly hurt people when he needs to.
Viktor wouldn’t handle that someone finds out about his weaknesses. He doesn’t know them himself, he even ignored if he has any, but he would be scared that the other nations find out his weak points that they could use to kneel him. He always stays impassible in order to never show anything – but he doesn’t really have to force himself because he already doesn’t feel much- and so others can’t detect any flaw.
2p!Sweden (3/10) :
Bernard perfectly knows how to hide his true side behind a mask of kindness and a pretty smile. But in reality, he can be considered a Yandere, a bit like 2p!England, because he seems like a good person, but he has a psychotic and murderous personality. He’s particularly manipulative because he always wants to have the control of everything and he has a severe lack of empathy. However, he doesn’t kill often, but when he does, he loves to torture his victim before killing them.
Worse than can happen to Bernard could be that he loses all his landmarks. He’s a character that is very attached to his possessions, so much that he even gives names to them: Mr. Beefy for his leather couch, Aurora for his lamp, Kriskin for his favorite chair and even Thurston (2p!Finland’s name) for his bed. Equally, 2p!Finland is for him one of his dearest possessions because he wants him as his wife – even if the Finnish don’t think so. If all of these brutally disappear, Bernard would enter in a particularly brutally mentally outbreak.
2p!America (4/10) :
Allan is a street guy; street fights amuses him and he will sink in with pleasure, and often he’s the one starting them. He has a violent nature and he enjoys hitting other street guys, especially with his baseball bat covered with nails. It’s something very enjoyable for him. Apart from street fighting that allow him to unwind, he has some moments of anger, but never strong enough to hurt his family or friends.
The thing that’s scares Allan the most is his feelings. Unlike his image of a tough guy he wants to show, he’s a great sentimental, as shown by his love for animals. He would like to be indifferent, but when it comes to his loved ones or people he really appreciates, he cannot help but to be concerned. His family is very important to him; 2p!France, 2p!England, 2p!Canada and his friends. Falling in love is the worst for him because he doesn’t know how to handle with his feelings. His sensitivity is his worst weakness.
2p!Austria (4/10) :
Roland is more dangerous that he is unstable, at least, if we can affirm that being attract and use the occult and summoning is not a trait of instability. Indeed, the Austrian’s passion is dark magic and more exactly demons’ summoning for fun or to a precise goal. He’s a character who regularly frequent Satan. There is nobody is particularly close to, except 2p!Prussia he takes as his boyfriend, even if the one concerned is afraid of him. Thus, the only ones Roland really is with are beings from his spells and summoning.
Roland has no one to really cherish because he scares everyone around him and is not afraid of all dark and dangerous things, so he does not really have any insecurity. But he’s so accustomed to rubbing shoulders with the supernatural that he’s really afraid of everything that can be called “normal”. He’s incapable to live like the others with a simple, ordinary lifestyle and he trembles at the idea of going shopping or talking with someone on the street. He’s socially awkward and tends to scare everyone with his sharped teeth and his red eyes.
2p!Denmark (5/10) :
From all of the 2ps, Markell must be the healthiest. He’s a good warrior, but doesn’t feel any pleasure when killing and he’s even disgusted about it. If he could, he would rewrite his past in order to erase his mistakes. Like 2p!France, he feels relatively detached from the others 2ps because he knows he isn’t like them and refuses to be like them. It must be the reason he smokes marijuana, to escape from this crazy world where almost every nation are bloodthirsty murderers that want to hurt for fun. But he’s far from all this and he would like to live in the 1p world rather than here, but that’s unfortunately impossible.
His biggest insecurity is his own world; the 2ps’ world disgusts him and he would like to escape it. He already asked his 1p if he can go on the 1p world, but Matthias refused, it’s impossible. Then, Markell tries a lot of other ways to flee by smoking for example. He fears the night when he would be awake by one of the nations and being murdered by stabbing or die from poisoning during a meeting.
2p!Japan (5/10) :
Kuro embodies all Japan’s worst actions, including Pearl Harbor and the invasion of China by the Japanese where they did a lot of heinous slaughter (Nanking massacre for example) during the WWII, and for which 2p!Japan hasn’t presented any excuses. He’s merciless, he kills in cold blood and according to what his twisted honor dictate to him. He’s not afraid of killing and torturing when his nation go to war. He’s heartless, dangerous and powerful when he wants to.
A little bit like 2!Finland, he could not stand to see his country lose a war and be besiege. However, unlike Thurston, who only fear 2p!Russia, Kuro sees potential enemies in every other nations. His country is an island, so it’s more difficult to invade, so he counts on his nation’s power to intimidate the others, especially western countries. Defeat is not an option for him, particularly after all the slaughters he did and that could create in his enemies a desire of revenge and a humiliation as horrible as he had done.
2p!South Italy (6/10) :
Flavio isn’t neither the type of killing often and if, without enjoyment. Like 2p!China, he kills only if the person is a threat, especially for him or his brother. He tries not to be very implied in his brother’s business, but he still is his second in command as a Mafiosi. He perfectly uses drugs to poison his victims and sometimes uses knives, but it’s rare. He also could have some Yandere traits towards the person he loves, that is to say 2p!Spain that makes him follow him everywhere and always asking for him.
For him, his body is own essence. If it were to be damaged in any way, Flavio would never recover. He’s almost at the point of honoring his image - being a real Fashionista - so if he has a little scar or a button in a visible place, he would fall into a real exaggerated and incredible existential crisis. Better not imagine if he is tortured or disfigured; then, he would die.
2p!China (6/10) :
Xiao doesn’t really like killing, but he will do it if he has to. If someone is threatening his rug market, he would go kill him without mercy. He particularly uses poisons poured into his victim’s food or stab them with little assassin’s knives in a dark area or at a street corner. He’s part of the Chinese triads so he’s an experienced gangster who knows everything about the art of removing people. He then can kill, but he also loves to threaten.
He’s maybe a gangster, but when Xiao is in love, he’s deeply enamored of the person and he can do everything for them and protect them from the entire world, especially his wild life. If something happen to them, he would feel guilty his whole life and never can forget himself for not being able to protect them, even after his finished revenge. Then, when he’s in love, his worst fear is that something happens to this person and not being able to protect them.
2p!Finland (7/10) :
Thurston is a very quickly angered person, sometimes even to the point that he enters into angry phases exceptionally violent, in which he needs to evacuate all of his wrath by breaking things for example. In order to avoid that, he generally takes his gun and his dog and go on a hunt; which is a real way to let off steam for him. The rest of the time, even if he has a grumpy and nervous personality, he’s not a bad man, but a simple bad news or an arguing are enough for his irritable temperament to explode.
The worst fear for Thurston is to be invaded again by 2p!Russia and to not be able to defend himself to repulse him. Being invade is for him a sign of weakness and powerlessness and his first invasion by Viktor centuries before was a really painful defeat. A second one and it would be the worst thing for him. He needs to prove to everyone that he is strong and that he can go up against 2p!Russia as a proof.
2p!Norway (7/10) :
Loki seems to be someone particularly smiling and friendly, but when we begin to enter into his life, he would tend to not want you to leave his side and would grab onto the person when he starts to like them. And the more we stay near him, the more he would show us his unstable and manic side of him by stalking us everywhere to know what we’re doing. He especially does that with 2p!Denmark he really loves. However, he’s very mean and violent with 2p!Iceland (he’s the one who tears off his eyes). It must not be forgotten that Loki is a passionate pyromaniac which explains his burns. He loves to burn everything he can
In addition to being a pyromaniac, Loki also possesses the same magical capacities as his 1p counterpart. However, he’s really afraid of these magic because with him it quickly become out of control. He already summoned powerful demons and spirits who haunted him, which lead him to be scared of his own powers and dark forces he can invoke. That’s why he uses them very little in order to not make him or his close relatives in danger.
2p!Iceland (8/10) :
After being raised by his unstable brother, it’s not very surprising that Egil, even if not very dangerous, has serious mental issues, particularly a borderline personality disorder that makes him have moods swings and wishes of self-harming. He suffers from anxiety, depression and the PTSD complex (a trauma due to repeated traumatic situations over long periods). A great cocktail that makes from Egil a likeable and nice young man from the first sight, but particularly disturbed.
His brother might well be unstable, it doesn’t stop Egil from loving him like a big brother. 2p!Norway, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to see him as a little brother. The Icelandic is very attached to Loki, even if he is cold and cruel to him since he found him on his island and brought him to Norway. He is very destabilized when his big brother isn’t near him and if Loki disappear, it would be a part of Egil’s world would crumble.
2p!Prussia (9/10) :
The biggest problem of Gilen is from far his deep depression, which locks him in an almost constant muteness. His depression causes a lot of stress, a big lack of self-confidence and a self-loathing that sometimes bring him to self-harm that add more scars than he already have because of his wars. His mood is generally very dark and all his words speak about death and pain. His unique way to escape is his daydream when he walks in beautiful landscapes or when he writes in his diary, although his writing still is very sad. He is unstable, but from all of the 2ps, he’s the less dangerous for the others; he can’t hurt anyone.
Finally, the worst insecurity of Gilen is life itself. It’s not beautiful or nice with him, and he tries to stay away from it as much as he can. He must have been weary before his territories’ dismemberment and his nation’s death should have been some sort of comfort for him, but he noticed that he still lived even after his nation’s fall. That’s most certainly what drove him into depression that he couldn’t die with his nation. Now, he lost all hope of dying and lock himself into his sickness.
2p!England (10/10) :
Generally, Oliver would be seen as someone normal, sometimes a little bit too much happy. But he has manic phases, just like Luciano, in which he is quite capable of killing someone, even if it’s with a less violent way than 2p!North Italy. He prefers to pour poison in his cupcakes before giving it to his victims. Although what he does after being as much violent because he sometimes cuts his victims out and stuff his cupcakes with organs. He has an obsessive personality disorder that makes him stick a person he really appreciates like a glue.
However, his good mood only is a mask to hide his fear of losing the ones he really loves, like François his lover-enemy, his two “sons” Allan and Matt and his friends like Flavio. He is terribly afraid of being all alone, also, the distant behavior of his closest family member hurt him a lot. Then, he easily could enter in a depressive phase. It already happens after being insulted or attacked. He is extremely sensitive.
2p!North Italy (10/10) :
Luciano is most certainly one of the most insecure 2ps with 2p!England. He is a maniac who suffers from hyperactivity. As far as he can have self-control when he supervise and give orders, he can also be entirely controlled by his aggressive impulses and enter in a psychotic phase which made him kill on a whim. It’s generally very violent and his favorite way of killing is by stabbing his victim several times. He likes to torture his victims before killing them, especially when he wants them to give him information.
His most important insecurity is his paranoia. He is convinced that everyone wants to make an attempt on his life (after all, he is the boss’ mafia). He also tends to eliminate anyone around him in whom he has doubts, except when it’s someone very close and he appreciates a lot. Then, he would give them the benefit of the doubt and put them under guard. Indeed, because of his oversized paranoia, he will tend to have a lot of spies, which he will order to watch each other. This way, he could have his eye on his enemies, friends, family, colleagues and his own spies.

Biden Pushes for War with Russia
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Jan. 41, 2022.--President Joe Biden’s 79-year-old memory has apparently faded so much he forgot the misery of two world wars on the European Content, including the over 500,000 U.S. combat deaths. Pushing the world to the brink in Ukraine, Biden refuses to compromise with the Russian Federation on Security, insisting that NATO is within its rights to encroach on the Russian Federation, supplying lethal arms to Ukraine to a possible war with the Russian Federation. Biden has been playing a dangerous game of chicken with 69-year-old master chess player Russian President Vladimir. “To our dismay, American media have lately been publishing a very large amount of unverified, distorted and deliberately deceitful information about what’s happening in Ukraine and around it,” sad Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting about the Russian hysteria sweeping Washington.
Not one Republicans, other that Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), has called Biden out on the madness of his foreign policy pushing the European Continent and the world to the brink of WW III. Biden thinks that diplomacy is only bullying and intimidation, threatening the Russian Federation with crushing sanctions if they invade Ukraine. Only the White House and the fake media have pushed the Russian invasion scenario. Putin has said repeatedly that he has no intent of invading Ukraine. And why should he? There’s zero logic in U.S. and EU media reports that correlate his troop build up inside Russia on the Ukrainian border as proof that Putin intends to invade Ukraine. “Hysteria hyped up by Washington is causing the hysteria in Ukraine,” rejecting any idea that Russia considers invading Ukraine. Only Biden and the U.S. media has been duped into thinking a Russian invasions is “imminent.”
When it comes to Biden and his 59-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken, they are blind to how they’re provoking a potential conflict with the Russian Federation. What’s so hard for Biden to figure out that the Kremlin doesn’t want Ukraine an armed NATO camp, overflowing with lethal weapons on the Russian border? What so hard to figure out? But to Biden he thinks that only threats against the Kremlin are the best way to make peace. Biden argued with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by telephone Jan. 27, telling Zelensky that an invasion was “imminent.” Zelensky told Biden that an invasion was not “imminent.” Biden gets bad intel from 45-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, insisting a Russian invasion is “imminent.” But any common sense would tell you that Putin has no interest in invading Ukraine since he controls the strategic Crimean Peninsula.
Since Putin annexed Crimea March 1, 2014, no Western government or the press admits that Putin reacted to a CIA backed coup that toppled the Kremlin-backed Kiev government of Viktor Yanukovych. Putin at the time hosted the Sochi Winter Olympics while the coup took place Feb. 22, 2014, thinking it was perfect timing while Putin’s hands were tied. When the games ended Feb. 23, 2014, Putin took one week to invade Crimea and protect his Stveatopol navy base. There’s noting to protect now in Ukraine, other that Russian speaking populations in Eastern Ukraine’s Donbass region that wants no part of the pro-Western Kremlin government. Putin has no desire to annex more Ukrainian territory and taking on the financial obligation of the Donbass region. Yet if you listen to Biden and the fake news, he’s on the verge of invading Ukraine. When Peskov calls the Ukraine situation “Russian hysteria,” he’s not kidding.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, 72, one of Putin’s closest advisers, said the NATO expansion near the Russian border in Ukraine threatens Russian national security. Supplying Ukraine lethal weapons and military advisers doesn’t sound defensive to Lavrov or anyone at the Kremlin. “Let them console themselves with saying that its is “defensive,” Lavrov said. Lavrov said that Ukraine joining NATO would undermine Russia’s relations with NATO members. “It does not make things easier for us. The line of defense has already come close to us,” commenting about the lethal weapons supplied by the U.S., U.K. and other NATO members to Ukraine. Biden has not explained why Ukraine has national security significance to the United States. If you listen to Biden, you’d think that a Russian invasion of Ukraine would threaten U.S. national security.
Biden’s belligerent approach to Russia is part of what Peskov calls “Russian hysteria,” where everything Russia does is out to harm the United States. When it comes to Ukraine, Biden has been willing to wreck U.S.-Russian relations much like he’s already done with Communist China. Without pragmatic and workable relations with Russia and China, Biden has damaged U.S. national security. All the threats of crippling economic sanctions against Moscow sounds like an act of war. Sanction “the likes of which we have not looked at before,” said Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby. With diplomacy like that it’s no wonder that the U.S. and Russia are at loggerheads. Kirby said there’s still “room and space for diplomacy,” proving the Biden White House is out-of-control with its dangerous game of chicken with Putin. Time is running out on a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis.
